Ex-Newcastle United striker Michael Chopra has taken to Twitter to vent his frustration about how the club is being run under current owner Mike Ashley.
It comes after the Magpies announced ex-Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday boss Steve Bruce to replace fan favourite Rafa Benitez.
Chopra, who started his career on Tyneside, also drew comparison between the respective honours of the two managers.
“This shows the ambition of @NUFC now. Sad to see,” the 35-year-old wrote on his personal Twitter account.
“MIKE don’t you realise the Geordies hate you and want you out of OUR club. #BoycottArsenal #Chopra #AshleyOUT”
