Manchester United pair Diogo Dalot and Tahith Chong have both made the 80-man shortlist for the European Golden Boy award.
The annual gong is awarded to the best player under the age of 21 by a panel of journalists. Portuguese defender Dalot makes the shortlist for the second season running.
Matthijs de Ligt currently holds the award that has previously been won by Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba – although the latter bagged the prize while at Juventus.
Dutchman Chong made his senior debut last season and is set for a big year at Old Trafford with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set to give the club’s youngsters more game time.
A host of Premier League names are also still in the hunt for the prestigious award including Phil Foden and Chelsea pair Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
